End of 2009 – changes ahead in 2010

Sunday, December 27th, 2009

It’s been a long, complicated and generally tough year so I am glad to see 2009 come to a close.

2010 will be a year of change, restructuring, and resetting of priorities. A time to build or rebuild myself and my life.

Good-bye 2009 – you were a handful.

From the China adoption forecast website:

Our prediction for LID 2006-05-31

China has 64 days of dossiers to be processed before they get to your dossier. China currently processes about 2.9 days of dossiers each month.

Our best guess: 2011-01-11

Time flies

Last update to this blog was in July. I am getting lax, I think.

We recently travelled to Germany (Frankfurt, Stuttgardt, Munich, Berlin and the Rhine region)

Cleanest city: Munich
Coolest city: Berlin

The eurail pass is definitely the way to go. Excellent network of trains with an up-to-the-second web site allowed us to plan our days from the comfort of our hotel room.

If you are planning on taking the citynightline train from Munich to Berlin, think small. The sleepers are tiny.
